My HX701 Digital Back Adapter(NOT FOR SALE) and two OTHER items for sale.(PRISM FINDER IS SOLD)
Finally here!
After a long time of waiting and checking around, I finally have my own HX701 digital back adapter for my Mamiya RZ67 Pro ii. People who have been through this pursuit I am sure they understand me a bit more. I started searching more consistently for the last 6 months but in the beginning, it seemed impossible to find one and at a reasonable price. After many disappointing and lost biddings on ebay and searches to local websites, one day out of the blue I see on my phone a picture of this precious and rare HX701 in the most popular Dutch website for the used staff.
In the beginning, I thought it was my imagination but I immediately made sure that it was there for real. But it was still not mine. I sent a message to the seller immediately and I was waiting for his reply like children waiting for their Christmas present. Long story short I did everything possible to get this adapter in my hands. Although I had to drive around 100 km after a long sleepless night because of working, Finally Sunday morning, this adapter was Mine.
Now I can pass to the next step which has many more options. I have the camera, I have the VERY RARE HX701 digital back adapter (the hardest part). Now I can start searching for a digital back. Many options are available out there. Depending always on what is the budget. In my case, I am thinking of starting in a low budget. I want to have the change to test and experiment a bit. What concerns me is the available focal lengths in the RZ. The crop factor when a digital back is attached is big. While you have a wide-angle field of view on a 6×7 frame with the 50mm attached, things change when you put a 48×36 sensor in place. But I will get to this later when I will have personally tested the camera with a digital back.
The seller of the HX701 Digital Back Adapter was giving it with some other accessories as a package. Now I end up having some spare accessories for the RZ 67 which I am putting on for sale. It is the Phase one Adapter plate for Hasselblad V mount digital backs…
and an AE Prism Finder for Mamiya RZ cameras.
These two items I will be putting on ebay for sale. Whoever is interested and located in Europe, please add a comment below with your interest and your contact details or send me a DM through INSTAGRAM. I will ship from The Netherlands.
I am interested in recommendations about digital backs on the RZ 67. If you have some please put in the comments. I am looking forward to owning one and start shooting some exciting projects. I already pre visioned these projects in my mind based on this camera system.
